Undegraduate student Masiel Velarde, part of my research group, spent the summer at Argonne National Lab, and will continue during the academic year under the supervision of Dr. Jerry Nolen and Yours Truly. Her project will use nuclear reactions models, TALYS, Empire, and Geant4 and FLUKA, to study the decay of several radioactive nuclei that might be related to the production of AXIONS. and connected to Dark Matter.
